Yet another 'tattoo book'! Surprise! ;) This time I want a gift that I got from my better half verbloggen. The mammoth Book of Tattoo Art promises on the cover images of the works of over 80 of the world's best tattoo artists, including Horiyoshi costume craze III, Filip Leu, Louis Molloy, Hannah Aitchison, Jime Litwalk and Mike Vries.
Even if the cover is a bit tatty I find the structure of the book especially nice. The book provides a short paragraph with each portrait to (or from) the artist and 4-5 pages with photographs of their skin art works. These include large-format, costume craze full-page designs are up to several per page order in as little space a brief insight into the Style for granted. The choice of tattoos is also what the inspiration seekers terms useful material because it meets many different styles, techniques, and areas of the body ...
And now we come to But: If you look at the list of all Tatowierer involved, it just comes down to 75th "Over 80 of the world's top artists" is a little bit exaggerated. You would still be able to get out to talk to a translation error on the number of pictures, if not equal to 700 photos would be touted in color on the back. At least this number I believe - if only out of laziness for rebuttal ;)
One can still get over as a slight deficiency, but the envelope I was really disappointed. As already mentioned, costume craze the cover is a bit tatty. This means that the pages dissolve at the first time leafing through already out if you are not careful. Before you can put it down before you have it again downright assemble and store carefully. It's annoying just because the band is really nice otherwise!
Conclusion: costume craze Interesting pictures, information about the artists and yet not too much text. Content, very pleasantly decorated and super idea mine ... but just a poor processing and therefore to handle awkward. However, the thing costs in research gerademal around costume craze 12 euros. Not at all that bad for the price also. Despite poor cover quality I give 9 stars.
